• Dalaman International Airport is just 20 minutes away from Göcek
• Dalaman - Göcek and Göcek - Dalaman transfer is included charter prices. Only additional transfer requests (Bodrum - Antalya - Izmir etc.) will be charged.

• There are several local markets that work till late hours of the night additional to five super stores.
• It is possible to find almost everything including luxury brands in these shops.
• If you are starting your holiday un Sunday, Göcek flee market is a good option for fresh fruits and vegitables.

• EGG uses D-Marin as base. Marine facilities are at your service at all time while you are in Gocek including showers, toilets, electricity, water and WiFi internet.
• There are 6 marinas in Göcek bay.
• 3 marinas have fuel stations (Belediye Marina, Club Marina and Marin Turk).
• 2 marinas have black water discharge service (Club Marina and Marin Turk).

• Following banks have branches in Göcek : Garanti Bank, Yapı Kredi Bank, Akbank, İş Bank, Vakıf Bank
• You can also use several ATMs in the city 7/24.
• There is no private exchange bureau in Göcek other then banks.
• You can change to local currency on weekdays at banks and post office.
• Most of the banks work half day on Saturday during high season.
• Post office hours are 09:00-17.00 on weekdays and 09:00-12:30 on Saturday.
• All credit cards are accepted for shopping.

• Göcek is in Mediterranean climate zone.
• In winter time (December, January and February) temperature is usually over 10°.
• Spring is usually very short, temperature reaches to summer average on mid June.
• Temperature is usually over 40° in July and August.
• Summer heat continues but starts decrease by the end of September.
• Western winds start on mid May and gets stronger in July and August. Usually ends in October.
• Water temperatures are usually over 22° between May and October.

• Two health clinic (one state and one private) are available in Göcek for health problems.
• State clinic serves with 2 doctors between 09:00 and 17:00.
• Ambulance service available for emergencies.
• General hospitals are available in Fethiye (32km) and Ortaca (25km).
• There are 2 dentistry clinics in Göcek.
• There are also 3 pharmacies in Göcek and one of them is always available 24h.

• All of our boats are equiped with mobile phones with local subscription to establish the communication between eachother and the base.
• Fethiye bay area is covered by all three GSM operators of Turkey - Turkcell, Vodafon and Avea. You can make phone calls and use dataservices with your own line in almost everywhere in Göcek.
• Broadband WiFi internet is available in D-Marin and in almost every restaurant or cafe shop in the village.
• GSM data modem will be supplied on request but this service is due to an extra charge.

• There are several restaurants, bars and cafe shops for every taste on the coats line and inner streets of Göcek.
• It is also possible to find restaurants and bars in marina areas.

Gocek is a very safe village but the official security services are given by gendarmerie.

• Transitlog applications are handled by harbour master in week days.
• There is no custom clearance in Gocek. Usually custom clearance process is handled by authorized agencies at Fethiye entry point.
• Skippers plan to leave Turkish waters temporarily must consult withh EGG team prior to the trip.
